Generally speaking, our activities and our conversations surround "guy things" like football, engineering, or action films. More often than not, there are many, many more boys around here than girls.
Recently, my dear husband has been surrounded by women.
His grandmother passed away and he has been on the phone with his sisters making travel arrangements.
A childhood friend of his moved into our empty house. Yesterday he helped her move a mattress and tables. (Later, she and I went out for coffee. It was great fun).
Even the ewes need his attention more these days. The photo shows one Dorset very heavy with lamb.
I'm praying for Mr. WestberryDad now, as he travels across the state to attend a 2:00 service. I hope he knows how much I appreciate the way he takes care of us girls:)
